Who we are as a company

We started David Harkins Group in 2000 to serve three very simple personal desires:

• To use our knowledge and experience to help others develop and grow their business;

• To build the kind of environment in which we wanted to work, and;
• To do work that met both our own and our client's standards of excellence.

We began as a marketing consultancy, but over the years learned that everything we touched was more about growing a business and less about "a sale to a customer". We realized that we were in the "Business Development" business, and that our real value was our unique ability to creatively meet new and unforeseen challenges to keep our clients on a path of sustainable growth.

Today, we call ourselves Business Development Consultants. But, we still operate on the foundation of the "three simple personal desires" on which the company was founded.

What we believe

Our business philosophy can be boiled down to one phrase:

We must provide both actionable and effective guidance to help our clients grow.

Progressive strategies and innovative tactics are wonderful, but if these solutions can’t be deployed efficiently and generate real results for clients, we find another way.

Our clients have told us they select our company based on the honest, no-nonsense approach we take to our work, and the results we help deliver. We work closely with clients to find the single best solution for their individual needs, values and expectations.
